Buses depart from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and arrive at Girona Bus Station, located next to Girona train station.
Approximate travel time: 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes, depending on the service and traffic.
This is generally the simplest option, as no change is required. However, departures may be limited, so we strongly recommend checking the timetable and booking in advance.
Schedules and tickets:
Look for:
Line 602: Barcelona Airport – Girona – Figueres
Option 2: Train via Barcelona Sants
There is no direct train from Barcelona–El Prat Airport to Girona. You must first travel to Barcelona Sants station and change there.
From Terminal 2
Take the R2 Nord airport train to Barcelona Sants. Trains depart from the railway station connected to Terminal 2.
From Terminal 1
Take the free airport shuttle to Terminal 2 and follow the signs to the railway station.
Alternatively, take the L9 Sud metro from Terminal 1 to Collblanc and change to Metro Line 5 towards Barcelona Sants.
