Hall 4 - Biocultures: Ancestral Medicines of the World

The Biocultures space opens a window into the world’s diverse plant and fungal traditions — from long-standing practices to those lying dormant yet resonant in cultural memory.

Traditional knowledge holders and scholars share the histories, meanings, and ecological relationships embedded in medicines such as psilocybin mushrooms, iboga, peyote, acacia, San Pedro, Peganum harmala, kykeon, and others. Through this interactive space, we rediscover the biocultural richness that has shaped human–Earth relations across time.
